About Me

Wheaton College Swimming

Greetings!

Welcome to my blog. This is where I share my personal beliefs and interests regarding cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and the future of the internet. It includes where my ideas stem from, how they continue to change, and what I believe is key for successful future implementation.

Before I get ahead of myself and start throwing around outrageous arguments, I think it is best to explain how I found the crypto space.

One of my high school friends was the first person I knew who constantly raved about Bitcoin. While confused and enthused about his reasoning, I disregarded his thoughts because of the seemingly abstract value.

At the same time, I did not find the traditional stock market to be super attractive. While trying to keep up with my friends and their eagerness to understand enterprise success, to me, it was like pulling teeth.

Thankfully, college introduced me to new passions. In the fall of 2019, I started my first year at Wheaton college where I continued varsity swimming and declared a business economics major. I filled the stereotypical athlete/econ role.

Suddenly, Bitcoin came into the picture again. Intrigued by the array of fascinating transactions that Bitcoin could execute, I investigated it further. I found that I could literally buy anything. This embarked my ever-growing interest in blockchain projects.

Since that beginning in 2019, my comprehension of cryptocurrencies and their use cases has changed drastically. After seeing my initial 2019 invest perform as 2020 came around, I hopped on the r/wallstreetbets "diamond hands" bandwagon. Thankfully, I found more reliable communities soon after. I started easing my way into YouTube, Reddit, Discord, and podcasts. At one point, I was enlightened to the fact that many of the conversations were happening on Twitter and found the vibrant crypto community.

When I started my research into the digital asset market, I knew something was different. The research did not feel like homework but more of a "Welcome" sign. My blossoming interest in crypto was the first time I had self-studied a topic, purely out of passion. I loved how new it felt, I loved being amid a controversial topic, at the cutting edge of technology.

Presently, I am thankful for the Authenticity Institute and the front row seat for innovation they have provided me, as Blockchain Community Ambassador.
